🚀 What We Are Looking For
We’re hiring an Executive Producer to bring programs and events to life — from concept through production and final delivery.
This role is central to client and project leadership, working collaboratively with Creative and Accounts leads to set the tone, achieve objectives, and elevate the standard of work across MAS. You’ll manage freelance and full-time Producers and Coordinators, while mentoring junior team members.
📋 You Should Have
8+ years producing events, with hands-on experience in logistics (catering, meeting space, housing, AV production, fabrication, etc.)
Experience leading and mentoring producers/coordinators
Strong creative instinct and ability to develop/push concepts forward
8+ years of client-facing experience (budget management, advising, conflict resolution)
Comfort presenting and pitching to clients and in new business settings
Fluency in event industry norms:
Venue contracting (including concessions)
Housing (room blocks, attrition, cumulative blocks)
Catering (food & beverage minimums)
AV/production (contracts, labor, load-in/load-out)
Budget management experience with accountability for $3M+ programs
Expert judgment and decision-making in gray areas
Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality
Strong communication across employees, clients, vendors, and contractors
Tech skills: Google Workspace, Slack, Sheets, Slides
Established vendor/freelance network (a plus)
Collaborative approach and willingness to travel/flex hours around live events
Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to jump in beyond job description
Bachelor’s degree preferred
📋 Essential Responsibilities
Creative & Project Leadership
Develop extraordinary concepts that inspire clients and champion forward-thinking ideas
Oversee brand experience projects from pitch through execution
Protect creative integrity by articulating and defending choices
Carry creative vision through every deliverable
Pursue innovative solutions and production methods
Identify, negotiate, and book external resources
Client Management
Own primary communication with clients, including difficult conversations
Build meaningful client relationships rooted in trust
Adapt to shifting client needs/budgets and secure approvals
Seek opportunities to deepen client engagement with MAS offerings
Share success stories across the network with clients and teams
Budget Management
Build program budgets and manage revenue with the Director of Production
Translate costs into clear sell prices for clients
Manage and negotiate third-party costs
Keep client budgets current and reconcile program costs
Partner with Accounting for billing and payment accuracy
👥 Supervisory Responsibilities
Inspire and challenge teams to push creative boundaries
Lead project teams cross-departmentally, mentoring producers/coordinators
Run regular team meetings and ensure deadlines are met
Manage vendor/freelance relationships for talent and pricing
Provide expert leadership across production complexities

💰 How We’ll Take Care of You
Hourly rate: $70 – $125 (based on national market compensation analysis)
Actual rate depends on training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands
