Job description
🎯 Missions
MUST BE BASED IN THE EUROPEAN OR THE UK TIME ZONES
As a Product Manager focusing on video editing at Mojo, you are responsible for making our app the best motion design app on the market. Your main focus will be running initiatives independently and working on new features around video editing, animation control and effects, together with Engineering and Design. You’re supported by a team of 3 other Product Managers at Mojo, and you will also be working closely with Jean, one of the company’s co-founders.
At Mojo, you will be focusing on bringing desktop-grade motion design and video editing tools to mobile, including crafting entirely new UX to simplify complex features that were previously inaccessible to the broad audience of millions of people.
To accomplish this, you will:
Lead cross-functional initiative teams, including Engineering and Design
Create a product roadmap for your focus area on a quarterly basis
Craft exceptional video and animation UX together with Product Design
Become deeply knowledgeable about our users and the market by conducting user interviews, benchmarking competitors, and analyzing data.

🛠 Skills
The following skills are required to be a good fit:
Proficient in creating video-based products: You have years of experience creating a leading video-based product on mobile or desktop.Exceptional understanding of UX: You love to study UX patterns in apps and digital products, you have a good understanding of UX best practices, and are able to craft user stories and UX mockups.
Video editing and motion design basic knowledge: You’re passionate about great videos, you have used video editing and motion design software before, and you understand the basics of video editing like Keyframes, Animators, and Timelines.
User-Centric Mindset: Strong focus on understanding user behavior, preferences, and pain points to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Product Management: Create and manage product roadmaps, prioritizing features, and defining release schedules.
Agile Methodology: Working in agile teams is your bread and butter. You’re experienced in applying agile principles and methodologies to product development. You love to iterate quickly.
Collaboration & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and growth. You communicate clearly, both written and spoken.
Leadership and Team Management: Ability to lead and inspire a team of engineers and designers to achieve goals independently from supervision.
Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills to collect and interpret data, conduct A/B testing, and make data-backed decisions to optimize product performance.
💻 Our work style
We are a small team of 25 people. Almost all of us are based in Europe. We have an office in Paris where half of us go weekly. The rest of the team works remotely and usually comes monthly to the office.
We gather every six months for team offsites and regularly host team events in Paris.
We work in English. Our communication is mainly written.
Most of our major initiatives are organized in autonomous squads.

💰 Compensation & benefits
Competitive salaries based on upper-range market data
💶The salary range for this role is 76k€-90k€ depending on the profile, we can go higher for outstanding profiles and adapt if the cost of living is higher than in Paris.
