Product Owner Associate

Location: Ukraine (Remote)

Your expertise: 

Professional Experience and Methodologies:

  • Minimum of 2+ years as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or Project Management in dynamic environments

  • Knowledge and / or experience in Agile environments

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

  • Demonstrable experience with web technologies and projects

  • Comprehensive understanding of web application development and requirements management processes

  • Demonstrable experience in UML / BPMN or similar business modeling techniques

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret complex business requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands and make data-driven decisions to achieve business objectives

Communication and Leadership:

  • Upper-Intermediate in English (written and spoken)

  • Good negotiation and communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas effectively

  • Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a history of taking ownership and driving results

  • Demonstrable maturity in decision-making and stakeholder management

Documentation and Process Improvement:

  • Expertise in crafting and maintaining technical documentation

Will definitely be a plus: 

  • Understanding of Kanban methodologies

  • Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), HTML, CSS, and SQL

  • Experience with tools like Visio, Draw.io, Atlassian Confluence, Atlassian JIRA, and Smartsheet

  • Technical background as a developer / QA, or prior experience in a customer support role, or similar position requiring high interpersonal skills

You will be involved into: 

  • Act as a dedicated Product team member working with a Product Owner, driving together the implementation of product visions and delivering tangible business value

  • Collaborate closely with Stakeholders to identify, understand, and address user challenges and capitalize on business opportunities

  • Refine the product backlog following Kanban principles, ensuring visibility, prioritization, and clarity at all times

  • Take the important role in tactical decisions, ensuring transparency and clarity in communication with all relevant stakeholders

  • Engage in agile activities, coordinating with other Product Owners / Product Owner Associates and teams, and ensuring seamless product releases and updates

  • Partner with technical teams, ensuring alignment of technical capabilities with business objectives, and setting realistic delivery milestones

  • Champion continuous improvement, proactively seeking feedback, and iterating on processes and methodologies to drive optimal outcomes
