Senior Backend Engineer (B2B Contract)

About The Position

OX Security is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help build the infrastructure that secures the world’s software supply chains. You'll work side by side with top-tier engineers, shipping high-performance, secure systems at scale. What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and implement robust backend systems and APIs to support security solutions.

• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define system architecture and requirements.

• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security through code reviews and best practices.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications and services with minimal downtime.

• Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support in their development efforts.

• Conduct regular system evaluations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development with a focus on scalable applications.

• Proficiency in Node.js

• Strong experience with database systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with cloud services and microservices architecture.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for clean, maintainable code.
