Pangolia’s marketing department is ready to hire an outgoing, quick thinking communication & marketing manager who can promote our articles, build relationships and gain traction to our resources. 

As you’ll soon learn, we are heavily invested in becoming the number one resource for pet owners, helping them make educated decisions about caring for their animals. Job description:

• Full-time position

• 3 month trial period including one month training and shadowing

• Flexible working hours

• Must be available 4 hours per day SAST in 1st month for training

Responsibilities:

• Create captivating email marketing campaigns 

• Promote new articles and info

• Get our websites and articles mentioned on other websites and media outlets

• Monitor 5+ email inboxes for potential partnerships and marketing opportunities

• Respond to reader questions, compliments, complaints, suggestions etc.

• Establish and maintain relationships with journalists, writers, SEO agents, brand managers etc.

• Look for relevant resource placements and linking opportunities

• Competitor research and backlink profile analysis

• White-hat SEO strategies and campaigns

• Build relationships with various pet brands 

• Create and maintain a media database  

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a professional in any marketing field

• A strong interest in pets and animals of all kind

• Autonomous and reliable

• Attention to detail 

• Critical thinking and problem solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Eager-to-Help attitude

• Experience with Google Drive (sheets, docs, etc.)

• Experience with email marketing software (like Mailshake)

• Fluent in English

• Innovative thinking

• Organized work ethic

Additional info and payment details:

You would start off on an internship that would act like a 3 month trial period.

After successful completion of the internship, you would be eligible to continue as a full-time communication & marketing manager. If you fail to complete the internship or either one of the parties involved does not wish to continue at any point, we would end the agreement after 3 months (or sooner, depending on the situation).

• 3 month trial period: $12,5/hour for 40 hours/week ($2000 per month)

• Full payment rate after trial period: $2500 per month

  No company benefits in the trial period.
