Manager, Account Management

At Pantheon, our account management teams are the backbone of our client’s success and represent significant opportunities for our ongoing growth. We are looking for a dedicated, hyper-organized, collaborative, and personable account management leader to expertly guide our Account Management team in our Mid-Market segment. As a leader in this role, you will continue to build on our existing foundation to directly impact the growth and retention of Pantheon clients. The role will require hands-on coaching and support on an as-needed basis, as well as, the ability to provide long-term strategic insights for our customers. You will collaborate with our Client Success & Sales Engineering teams as a resource to maximize the best possible outcomes for our clients and Pantheon.

Cool stuff you'll do

  • Lead a passionate and highly motivated team of Mid-Market Account Manager to achieve Pantheon’s growth and retention goals within the segment

  • Own Mid-Market account management strategy and lead the team driving best in class upsell, expansion, and retention rates across our enterprise customers.

  • Create a strategy to manage a diverse client base

  • Manage client relationships and build trust

  • Create benchmarks for measuring customer satisfaction

  • Understand escalation needs and create resolution action plans

  • Foster a continuous improvement based culture focused on a 100% renewal rate

  • Work closely with sales and product leaders to understand future Pantheon product extensions

  • Build infrastructure for Account Management team growth

What you bring to the table

  • 3-5+ years experience in leadership managing a team of Account Managers, Account Executives or a mix of both, along with 3 - 5 years experience in an Account Management individual contributor role

  • Background in managing a quota carrying team within the SAAS/Tech segment

  • Experience in a team leadership position driving the strategic success of an account management function.

  • Strong subject matter expert in Account Management Capability Development - driving strategic thinking; creating simplicity from complexity.

  • Excellent leadership, relationship management, and interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to lead, coach, and help deliver in-depth sales presentations, including product demonstrations that highlight key benefits, ROI, and the value of our solutions and services.

  • Strong technical background and sales/customer orientation.

  • Previous experience using CRM, preferably Salesforce.

  • BS/BA or equivalent

Bonus points for

  • Practical knowledge of Drupal and Wordpress

  • Familiarity with open source solutions and web infrastructure

  • Strong knowledge of SaaS, IaaS and/or PaaS solutions in the market

  • Previous experience selling to complex, large-scale institutions
