The role
As the VP of Revenue Operations, you will be an integral part of the business and our sales leadership team. Reporting directly to the CRO, you will be tasked with bringing a data-driven framework to help guide the direction of our organization and will be responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization. Our ideal candidate has a solid track record in building effective teams, has demonstrated successful collaboration and business partnership with sales and marketing leaders, and possesses a unique blend of process and strategic thinking capabilities.
Cool things you'll do
Collaborate to optimize go-to-market strategy, systems and infrastructure, boosting sales productivity and efficiency
Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement all operational processes that impact the productivity of the sales team and efficiency of the lead to quote to cash cycle
Own sales compensation strategy and variable incentive plan administration
Drive sales operational alignment across the organization including Finance, Customer Success, Product, Marketing to exceed annual revenue targets and KPIs
Own the data – drive the processes and communications between all operational teams and the sales ops team to ensure data is accurate and useful
Develop process, systems and productivity metrics to ensure our teams are hitting their performance targets.
Oversee the assignment of sales team quotas and ensure that company financial goals are optimally allocated to the sales channels through the team and individual sales plans.
Work closely with senior sales leadership to define the optimal performance measurements and performance management programs required to ensure sales organization success.
Partner closely with other key operational leads to drive change. This includes building organizational understanding of proposed changes for sales, establishing support from key leadership stakeholders, and effectively implementing new processes to support the growth of the business.
What you bring to the table
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field. MBA preferred.
10+ years of sales/business operations or sales management experience in a high-growth SaaS/PaaS environment
Successful record of executive leadership including the demonstrated ability to lead change, motivate, and enable a high performing sales team with proven experience driving revenue growth
Proficient in sales reporting and project management tools for identifying, organizing, and presenting data required to support sales strategy, and confidence using data analytics, financial and business reporting tools to make data-informed decisions.
Experience successfully managing analytically rigorous corporate initiatives leveraging standard SaaS sales metrics and benchmarking.
Proven ability to identify and lead growth enabling initiatives for rapidly scaling organizations
Well-organized, strong communication skills and ability to manage and influence direct and indirect reports with high motivation for continuous improvement and ability to drive impact.
Exceptional influencing skills, with experience engaging diverse set of cross-functional partners
An ability to provide clear direction, set measurable goals and give insight on industry benchmarks
