Creative Marketing Assistant (Peak Wellness) - $3,000/month
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Stop. This isn't another vague, corporate job post.
We've taken time to write this (yes, it's long) so please read through the whole thing. We're serious about this role and we want to hire someone who is too.
Peak Wellness is a telehealth company on a mission to help 10,000 people by the end of 2026 reclaim control of their health through GLP-1 medications, coaching, and sustainable lifestyle change.
We believe weight struggles aren't always about willpower. Food palatability, hormones, and biology differ for everyone. Compassion leads the conversation here.
That's why we don't just help people start GLP-1s. We help them get off them. These medications are a powerful jumpstart, not a lifelong crutch. Our goal is to transition people into sustainable, healthy lifestyles.
Everything is downstream from your physical health. When your body is right, everything else in your life improves.
We're a small, remote, high-performing team. Every person here is obsessed with growth, both inside and outside of work. We want to hire someone who's proud to say:
"I help people take control of their health and their lives."
If that mission excites you, keep reading.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll be joining a company led by builders, not corporate managers.
From day one, you'll work directly with our CRO/CMO, Sean, who leads revenue, marketing, and Peak Wellness growth. Together, you'll create content that actually moves people, not just content that fills a calendar.
This role sits at the intersection of video editing, social media, and marketing. You'll cut UGC, produce ad creative, manage our social channels, and help us build relationships with influencers. The common thread: you understand that great content captures emotion and meaning, not just a literal depiction of words on screen.
We're not looking for someone who already knows everything. We're looking for someone who has the fundamentals (video editing, social media awareness, creative instinct) and wants to grow into a serious marketing role. If you're the kind of person who learns fast, takes ownership, and cares about doing great work, you'll thrive here.
What You'll Own
Video Editing & Content Creation
Edit UGC into polished, engaging clips
Integrate B-roll that captures the emotion behind the message (not just visual depiction of the words)
Create content using CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools
Produce content across formats: Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, Stories
Social Media Management
Own the posting calendar across Peak Wellness's social channels
Write captions, schedule posts, engage with the audience
Track what's working and adjust accordingly
Stay ahead of platform trends, algorithm changes, and new formats
Ad Creative Support
Cut and edit video for paid social campaigns
Test different hooks, formats, and styles to find what converts
Deliver assets on time and in the right specs for each platform
Influencer Outreach
Research and identify creators aligned with our mission
Handle outreach from first contact through content delivery
Build real relationships, not transactional one-offs
How We Work
We run on five principles. If these resonate with you, you'll fit right in.
1. Get Sh*t Done. Results matter, not hours or activity. Focus on the 20% of work that drives 80% of results. Finish what you start.
2. Own It. Take responsibility for your work and your outcomes. If something breaks, fix it. If something is unclear, go find the answer. Don't bring problems without a proposed solution. Your role will evolve. You'll be asked to do things you haven't done before. That's the deal. Use AI, YouTube, documentation, whatever it takes.
3. Be Direct. If something is a problem, say it. Don't build stories in your head about what might be going on. Get the truth on the table. Being direct solves problems faster and builds trust.
4. Stay Hungry. Always be learning. The best people on this team can't stop improving, not because someone told them to, but because mediocrity is boring.
5. Don't Be a D*ck. We have fun. We're goofy. We don't walk on eggshells. But fun only works when everyone protects it. No egos, no politics, no energy vampires.
How We Hire
We don't believe in making hiring decisions based on interviews alone. Interviews tell us who you are on your best day. We want to see who you are on a normal Tuesday.
We hire through a 28-day paid trial at full rate. You'll be doing real work from day one, not hypothetical exercises or unpaid test tasks. At the end of 28 days, if it's a mutual fit, you stay. If not, no hard feelings. You'll have been paid fairly for real work.
Why do we do it this way? Because we've learned that the best way to know if someone fits is to actually work together. Resumes and interviews only tell part of the story. We'd rather invest in seeing how you work than guess based on a 45-minute call.
This means we move fast. If you're selected after your application, expect to start quickly. If you need to give notice at your current role, just be upfront about your timeline. We respect that.
Your Future Growth
This role is designed to grow with the company. Peak Wellness is scaling, and we need someone who scales with us.
You'll start by owning video and social. Over time, as you prove yourself and develop your skills, the role expands. More responsibility, more creative ownership, more influence on how we market and grow.
We invest in growth. If there's a course, tool, or experiment that will push your edge, we'll support it. We expect you to bring back what you learn and level up the rest of the team.
If you want to build a career in marketing and you want to do it somewhere that your work actually matters, this is the place.
Who You Are
You have basic to intermediate video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
You understand social media. Not just as a user, but as a creator. You know what works, what's trending, and why.
You're a self-starter who takes ownership without being asked
You communicate clearly and directly
You handle feedback well, even when it's blunt
You're hungry to learn and grow into a bigger marketing role
You're positive, low-ego, and easy to work with
You care about the mission. Helping people get healthy isn't just a job to you.

We can not get back to everyone. We’re sorry but because we are a small team, we are not able to provide emails to every single person. We know it’s frustrating to never hear back from a company when you apply but we simply can’t handle that much back and fourth. If you don’t hear from us in 2-3 weeks, then we’ve gone forward with other candidates but appreciate you taking the time to apply.
Thank you for reading and for your interest in Peak Wellness. Whether we end up working together or not, we genuinely wish you the best.
Thank you for your time and energy 🙏
Don't wait, tomorrow could be too late.
