Presales Engineer

About the role

Almost all of our customers go through a trial experience. Ensuring a great trial experience is a mandatory to improve sales. You’d be driving the perfect trial experience for customers.

This role perfectly suits if you are an engineer and are curious to try sales roles and want to become a sales person eventually. As Naval Ravikant says, if you can build and sell - you are unstoppable :)

This is a sales-enabling role.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Key Success metric: Trial to paid conversion ration

  • Be in sales calls when customers get into the trial mode.

  • Work hand-in-hand

  • Help customers setup their trial account and guide them through the entire trial process

  • Have a 10-star trial checklist and ensure customers go through it.

  • Keep iterating the checklist based on learnings.

  • Customize the trial checklist for each customer.

Experience and Qualifications

  • 2-4 years work experience

  • Ideal candidate is a techie who likes to sell.

  • You should have good SQL understanding and ability to understand databases

  • You should be comfortable in writing small scripts to help customers kick-start their trial setup and ensure trial success
