Mobile Product Manager (U.S. Only)

Plastiq is hiring a customer-obsessed Principal Product Manager, Mobile to lead the design, build and launch of our mobile product and features that will drive an exciting next phase of growth for the company. This leader will bring experience and expertise enabling Small to Medium-sized businesses (SMBs), ideally FinTech payments products, and have a track record of building and growing mobile apps in partnership with sales and marketing teams in scaling late-stage start-ups.

You will be a key member of the Product team partnering with the broader Design and Engineering team, to shape and realize the vision for product experiences which will delight our customers. Your Responsibilities

  • You will own the product roadmap for Plastiq Mobile and its sub-features, including customer research, opportunity identification, OKRs, resourcing tradeoffs, and investment business cases

  • Partner with design and UX teams to elevate the product's UX/UI, creating discipline and rigor around unearthing critical customer insights

  • Ensure the customer voice is imbued throughout product building process

  • Oversee feature prioritization for the development teams, and keep the trains running on time within an agile development environment

  • Develop a deep understanding of user behavior and product metrics, looking for ways to improve key product metrics and our user experience, specially focusing on Mobile first behavior

  • Deep-dive on user research, design, product strategy, and roadmap, being relentless in your pursuit to learn our customers' aspirations and deliver for them a best-in-class, delightfully simple, yet powerful product

  • You will uphold and role-model our culture of frictionless collaboration between product, design, engineering, marketing, sales, and customer service groups to ensure our customer's needs are front and center for everyone involved throughout the product development cycle

Your Experience

  • 5+ years of product management experience during which you have launched and managed Mobile first products, and collaborated with cross functional teams from concept to launch in consumer or SMB markets

  • Demonstrated technical and business acumen within the Product Management function; prior engineering or design background strongly preferred

  • Proclivity to sift through user insights and product metrics to identify most impactful areas of product focus

  • Strong project management skills, and willingness/ability to own key parts of the product, end-to-end

  • You care deeply about the customer experience and have a track record of bringing mobile products to life in consumer or small business markets using a thoughtful, data-driven approach

  • You won't shy away from leaning in and managing important details of the customer experience creation yourself when it can mean delivering something extraordinary
