Position Summary

In the past year we’ve grown from a handful of folks into a thriving division of Platform.sh. Marketing, Sales, and Brand need help from a project management team to keep our departments in sync and in communication. 

To help facilitate this growth, Platform.sh is looking for a Creative Project Coordinator to join this new team. This role will help the Creative + Campaign Project Manager coordinate, facilitate and manage allocations and schedules for ongoing projects within the Brand Design and Marketing teams. Additionally, this position will be responsible for identifying weaknesses in processes and workflows and developing and implementing efficient solutions.

We believe that an internal project coordinator will greatly help the team remain on topic and give us the opportunity to better plan campaigns and initiatives as our product grows. This role reports directly to our Creative + Campaign Project Manager.

The Marketing and Design organization is distributed across the Americas and Europe. This position can be done from anywhere in time zones ranging from UTC-5 to UTC+2.

What you can expect to do on a daily basis 

  • Meet with internal teams to learn about and track upcoming campaigns, initiatives, feature releases, events, and demand generation goals

    • Help us better share and use this information with regular summaries and a calendar 

  • Develop and manage project plans, including detailed timelines outlining project and deliverable-specific milestones

  • Conduct project meetings with internal team and stakeholders, communicating clear action items

  • Ensure deliverables by scheduling regular check-ins/reviews. Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.

  • Conduct campaign retrospectives to iterate and optimize processes

  • Identify and enforce process opportunities for cross-discipline collaboration amongst deliverables in marketing

  • Have excellent knowledge on PM software tools and enthusiasm for guiding best practices. Experience with Asana, ClickUp or Monday.com would be very helpful. We need your help to learn how to get the most from it. 

What you bring 

  • A caring mind frame and an empathetic spirit. The ability to think from other perspectives is a tool we ask of all employees.

  • 2+ years experience in the project management field for an agency, marketing, or creative team

  • Advocacy and passion for best project management practices 

  • Diehard organizational skills 

  • Support project planning, management and execution from beginning to end

  • Work with brand managers and project managers to schedule deadlines, communicate with stakeholders and carry out other supervisory responsibilities

  • Thoughtful feedback within teams, you’d be one of us, so please speak up

  • Experience connecting marketing and design goals with timelines 

  • Some flexibility with working hours (within reason), and worldwide time zones are a challenge!

  • Flexibility to adjust to methods specific to some teams  

Nice to have 

  • Proofing skills

  • Strategic experience in creative marketing, help us decipher the best methods for our goals

  • Experience on an internal team (not agency) in a similar role 

  • Base knowledge of the software tech industry

About our recruitment process 

We don’t expect a great hire to meet every requirement we’ve outlined. If you can see yourself elevating the team, we want to hear your story. Few of us would be here had we not taken a chance.   

You can expect 1 – 4 interviews on Google Meet. We leave the process fairly customizable to teams and roles, so in some scenarios we’re able to streamline the process to have minimal rounds. Expect a higher number of rounds for director-level roles and above.  

You’ll also have the opportunity to schedule virtual coffee chats with potential future peers during the recruitment process to see if you can envision working together. Use interview and coffee time to make sure the company aligns with what you’re looking for in your future working environment.
