Head of Worldwide Deal Operations - Remote

We are seeking a passionate and highly driven individual to join the Revenue Operations team at Postman. The Revenue Operations team is integral to the success of the Sales and Customer Success organizations by helping to drive revenue, renewals and the productivity of the sales and customer success teams. The Head of Worldwide Deal Operations role reports into the Head of Revenue Operations and will be responsible for ensuring rigor around deal structuring and pricing, contracts negotiations, and internal deal process and policies as well as broader business readiness initiatives. 

This is a full-time remote position based in North America.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to field operations on deal structuring, pricing and contract negotiations

  • Facilitate the sales approval and standardized contract document generation process

  • Serve as liaison between sales and revenue accounting on revenue recognition issues

  • Experience implementing CPQ to drive efficiency in quoting process

  • Own and publish sales and business approval policies including a formal Bookings Policy that guides how deals are transacted

  • Outline approver roles and responsibilities, approval routing and workflow design, simplify exception alerting and communications processes 

  • Drive data governance and integrity on internal controls for Postman’s enterprise sales process

  • New Product Introduction | Partner with Product Management, Finance, Legal and Enablement etc. to streamline the company’s NPI processes and policies.including the operationalization of New SKUs

Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business or equivalent years of experience

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in Deal Desk or similar position for a large SaaS company

  • General familiarity with contract "do" and "don'ts" from an accounting and audit perspective.

  • Strong emotional intelligence with an innate ability to develop relationships and work cross-functionally with all levels of the organization to drive results

  • Team player-coach who is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience implementing CPQ, robotic process automation technologies and system-driven efficiency/design improvements.

  • Quantitative mindset with the ability to perform data-driven root cause analysis and provide recommendations.
