🤩 The Role - What it means to be a Medical Writer at Rupa!

Are you an MD, DO, ND, DACM, NP, PA, RD or equivalent with a background in writing and creating content? You might be a perfect fit for this role!

We are looking for a contract medical writer who is excited and capable of writing about medically technical concepts, such as specialty lab testing and root cause approaches to healthcare, in engaging and relevant ways.

We have a strong need to communicate with healthcare practitioners and patients alike to bring Root Cause Medicine to the world!

⚡️ Specifically, you will:

- You will be responsible for providing 20 articles each month that will be due on a daily basis M-F (this equates to approximately 40 hours a week of work)

- This role will be a 1099 Contract Writing Position for Rupa Health's Magazine!

- You will work with our Magazine to develop scientifically sourced educational content in the form of magazine articles.

- Article requirements are approx 1500+ words. SEO Outlines will be provided.

⚡️Requirements:

- At Least 1 year experience writing content centered around evidence based integrative medicine content. 

- One of the Following Medical credentials MD, DO, ND, DACM, NP, PA, RD

- Functional Medicine Certificate: IFM, CFMP, FMN, IFNCP or equivalent or Integrative Medicine Background

- Familiar with Pubmed, Google Scholar, Science Direct and equivalent evidence based sourcing sites. 

- Strong background knowledge in specialty lab testing. Genova, DUTCH, ZRT, Doctors Data, Vibrant America, etc.

- Knowledge of Rupa Health's Lab Portal

- Knowledge of Rupa Health’s Magazine

- Strong ability to create engaging written content around functional medicine & lab testing that is easy to understand for healthcare practitioners and readers alike.

- Able to commit to 20 articles each month that will be due on a recurring scheduled due date.

- An excellent communicator and can handle a 24-hour turnaround time with edit requests.

💵 Compensation:

This is a contract position expected to work approximately 40 hours a week. Compensation is $5000 per month.
