Data Analyst

SafetyWing (YC W18) is seeking a Data Analyst interested in building a global safety net.


We are building a global social safety net, including health and retirement for remote workers worldwide, as a replacement for national welfare systems. If we succeed, we believe this will help ensure freedom and equal opportunity for everyone, and it is one of the more important tasks of our time that no one else is working on.


👩‍💻 About this Role


You will be part of a small analytics team supporting the organization by creating tools and insights to keep track of the facts and help people work smarter.

💻 Your responsibilities will include

  • Building and maintaining dashboards in Tableau

  • Testing data

  • Answering data requests

  • Creating monthly reports

👩‍💻 We are looking for someone who has

  • experience as a data analyst and a deep understanding of popular data analysis tools and data warehouse technologies such as Tableau and Google bigQuery

  • outstanding analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Tableau

  • Google bigQuery

  • Python

  • SQL

  • Airflow

We operate in a fully remote work environment – work from anywhere globally. 

You will receive hourly salary compensation.

Work about 30 hours/week, with the opportunity for a full-time position over time.

We have an annual team gathering where you will join us. The previous was in Tulum, Mexico.
