Student loan borrowers need an advocate on their side to better understand their debt, find federal forgiveness programs that will wipe away their debt, and help them all the way through the process.
Role Overview
In this role, you will play an integral role in supporting Savi’s product management. You will help manage cross-functional priorities, projects, and stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient product delivery. An exceptional communicator, you will be expected to be a self-starter who can identify open tasks and roll up your sleeves to see them through completion. This role will require work closely with a Product Manager and senior leaders across the organization to translate business and borrower needs to product requirements.

Work directly with our Product Manager to coordinate activities and manage workflow within the product lifecycle from requirements to prioritization to product release
Support the product backlog, including daily tracking of work across releases, research, discovery, design and development (including defect resolution/feature debt) to measure performance of releases, meet milestones and team goals
Conduct user research and analyze findings to inform the product backlog and identify customer pain points. Monitor performance and measure impact of product enhancements and initiatives using analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Metabase, etc.
Support cross-functional coordination in support of Product with internal and external stakeholders
Work alongside designers and engineers to deliver product features;
Work cross-functionally with teams to communicate and execute product launches;
About You:
The ideal candidate is a self-starter and creative thinker, has the agility and growth mindset to shift priorities and focus as needed, and most importantly, is passionate about helping student loan borrowers and building a more just and equitable system to pay for college in America. Some of the characteristics we’re looking for:
0-2+ years of product management experience, preferably working with a consumer-facing web/mobile product or service
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field preferred
Experience at an early stage startup preferred
Ability to synthesize business requirements into product specifications
Interest in building functional and engaging user experiences
Strong communication skills
Hands-on, driven self-starter with high initiative
Collaborative team player who can manage across business units
Passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced startup environment.

Full time, start date is flexible
D.C. based is preferred as our team’s hybrid homebase is at the Midtown Center DC WeWork location. Remote virtual is accommodatable as well.
Compensation: $45-65K base salary plus stock options
