Analytics Manager - Product

We are looking for a manager with varying levels of experience to join SeatGeek’s Product Analytics team. This person will be responsible for hiring, growing and developing a team of product analysts who have some of the deepest knowledge of SeatGeek’s product and underlying data.

Product analysts at SeatGeek mine product data to learn about user behavior, identify and track the right growth levers, and surface opportunities to improve the user experience.  This manager will support analysts working on our core shopping experience, and collaborate with cross-functional product development leads to uplevel not just the product, but the entire organization working on it.  

The ideal candidate has overseen measurement and goaling for a successful, highly iterative product development organization, and has a track record of successfully managing teams by balancing the pursuit of curiosity with ensuring a positive ROI on the time spent on work.  In a fast-moving organization, this person will be able to see through the noise (literally and figuratively) to keep team members in product management, engineering, design, and user research focused on the right numbers and how they affect product strategy.  

What you'll do

  • Run weekly experiment reviews and keep leadership appraised of results and learnings

  • Evaluate impact estimations for product initiatives and contribute to the prioritization for planning cycles

  • Own a research agenda alongside partners doing qualitative analyses

  • Manage, mentor and grow a team of analysts at various levels

  • Establish and develop buy-in for analytics roadmaps and team growth plans 

Who you are

  • 4+ years working with product data as an analyst or data scientist

  • 1-2 years managing analysts or data scientists

  • Strong SQL skills, preferably also experience with Python or R for visualization or statistical analysis

  • Experience with product A/B testing

  • Experience establishing analytics roadmaps and optimizing the ROI of analytics work

  • Experience influencing stakeholders in Product Management, Design, Engineering and Marketing

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Passionate about live events and excited to make that experience better for fans

The salary range for this role is $160,000-$250,000 Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
