Agile Project Manager - ScrumMaster
About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Agile Project Manager for our Growth Acquisition and Growth Conversion teams; two fast-moving teams that drive all product-led growth initiatives at SecurityScorecard. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging agile scrum methodologies to improve productivity, predictability, and our ability to deliver value every two weeks.
Role Highlights
Expertly run all Sprint Ceremonies for the Growth Acquisition and Growth Conversion teams
Running Sprint Planning and Daily Standup
Running Sprint Review and documenting corrective behaviors into an improvement backlog
Running and Documenting Sprint Retrospectives
Preparing the team for Company-wide Sprint Demos
Improve team effectiveness by helping the Product Manager maintain the Product Backlog & Release (GTM) Plan:
Facilitating the prioritization of the Product Backlog (aka “Grooming”)
Helping to make sure requirements and desires from stakeholders and customers are captured in the Product Backlog
Keeping the Product Backlog to a manageable size, organizing backlog items into appropriate releases or priority groups
Facilitating the translation of requirements into User Stories
Reviewing with the Product Manager if the release targets still match reality during Sprint Review, reviewing burndown charts, and scope shifts
Improving Team Collaboration:
Creating the working environment in which the team is in a state of flow
Encouraging team members to hold each other accountable to high standards and challenge each other to grow
Creating a psychologically safe environment in which the team is comfortable discussing any issues or opportunities
Facilitating discussions around capacity for tech debt repayment as part of the definition of done, gradually improving the code over time
Helping the team with work breakdown and Story Point estimation (and techniques to improve estimation)
Shielding the team and their artifacts from external interruptions that may impede team internal transparency and self-management
Qualifications
5+ years experience as an Agile Project Manager or ScrumMaster in a remote environment
ScrumMaster Certification required
Experience managing highly technical cross functional teams
Deep Experience with Jira and Confluence, writing JQL queries, Scrum board setup
Expertise in leveraging Jira Reports such as the Velocity Chart, Cumulative Flow, and Control chart in improving team productivity
Experience using data to create dashboards related to team progress, productivity etc.
Experience with Google Drive, Slack, Zoom
