Controller

We’re looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller, who will ensure the integrity of financial information, oversee our audits, and support our growth and profitability goals.

On a regular basis you will 

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting.

  • Continuously increase efficiency of month end close and shorten month-end close cycle

  • Evaluate new and existing accounting tools

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.

  • Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.

  • Prepare and present financial reports for management and stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

  • Coordinate and manage annual audits and tax filings, working closely with external auditors and tax advisors.

  • Provide financial insights and guidance to support strategic initiatives and business planning.

  • Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering and People teams as the Finance SME on projects as needed

You’re gonna crush it if

  • You have proven experience as a Controller and have an active CPA license 

  • You have experience working at both large companies and startups (experience working at a big 4 accounting firm is strongly preferred)

  • You have strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

  • You have advanced proficiency in financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks, Netsuite) and MS Excel.

  • You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • You have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

  • You are comfortable sorting through data to better understand the company’s financial results.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary - $150k - $170k
