Our biggest challenge right now

Superside has its own in-house DesignOps system allowing our creatives and customers to collaborate seamlessly on one platform. That means we have two types of users, which is definitely a challenge.

In a word, our situation is a bit more complex, so we need product managers who understand how to navigate and serve both sides.

What you'll be doing

  • Work with cross-functional Engineering, UX design, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations teams

  • Move quickly to help innovate and coherently drive product initiatives across the company

  • Identify significant opportunities to achieve the product vision

  • Drive strategies and roadmaps for broader organizational goals

  • Lead and motivate a team of engineers and other cross-functional representatives

  • Apply Superside’s strategic and competitive position to deliver products aligned with our mission and that are recognized best in the industry

  • Maximize efficiency in an environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm

  • Discover and define relevant problems in the area you own, then create solutions in the best way possible

  • Lead your team and create an environment of knowledge sharing, open communication, continuous development and collaboration

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions

  • Experience in full-cycle product development in consulting or top product companies (preferably B2B SaaS) is a bonus

  • Experience working with teams, users, and stakeholders

  • An entrepreneurial mindset  with solid leadership, organizational and execution skills

  • Ability to incorporate data, research and market analysis to inform product strategies and roadmaps

  • Ability to move quickly, innovate and coherently drive product initiatives across the company

  • Passion for user experience and eagerness to engage with customers on a deeper level

  • Familiarity with Project Management tools such as JIRA or Asana and design tools like Figma/Invision is a plus

  • Solid argument skills with the ability to provide constructive feedback

1st month: This is the time for your onboarding. You get to know how Superside works and is organized. You’ll meet other Supersiders that are starting at the same time as you. The usual new Supersider batch is between 20 and 50 people. Next to the general onboarding, you meet your teammates.

2nd month: You start getting acquainted with how our product works, looking into how everything is structured and organised. You might find a couple of ideas on what can be improve or you look at the product with critical fresh eyes.

After 3 months: You already work pretty smoothly with your teams. You start discovering ways to improve the product, processes or communication. You take ownership of your team and activities.

Hiring process

We want to make sure we hire the right people so we created a hiring process that will help us understand if we’re the right fit for one another. We are remote and it’s critical that we hire self-reliant, autonomous people. Everyone from the team has been through the process. Be assured that by joining Superside, you’ll be part of a talented team, cherry-picked among the best out there.

  • Our first introduction: 45min introduction call. No need for any formal prep beforehand, we’re here to get to know each other enough to see if we’re a potential good match.

  • Meet and greet: First interaction with the Management team. It lasts around 1 hour and our goal is to dive deeper into your skills, experience, and motivation while explaining who we are as a company and how we work. Should you be successful, you will be given a case assignment to complete.

  • Ability assessment: The ability tests have been selected to measure the skills and competencies needed to succeed in the role.

  • Case study presentation: This will consist of a 1-hour discussion regarding your case assignment. This is your chance to walk us through your work and the logic behind it. We will share the link to the case with you and provide you with a week to prep for the interview. During the discussion, you will be given the opportunity to present your thoughts on the case and the team will be able to ask questions. We want to make sure we’re the right place for you as much as you’re the right fit for us, so fire away!

  • Final interview: The last meeting with the Management team will last around 1 hour and it’s another chance to talk about our mutual expectations, address any concerns, and dive deeper into how you could be successful leading a team in Superside. At this stage, it is clear we want you! We’ll make sure you want to join us too.
