Video Content Producer

Superside is on the hunt for a skilled Video Content Producer to work their magic behind (and in front of) the camera to help scale the production of digital ads and other video content. Positioned at the crossroads of technology and creativity, your mission will be to enhance Superside’s resonance in the digital realm through channels like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. 

With a foundation deeply rooted in technology, it's essential for you to be well-versed in the tech/SaaS/B2B landscape. In this capacity, you will play a transformative role within a marketing team that has successfully boosted our growth from $1M-$45M ARR. Join us as we script the next phase, targeting a leap from $45M-$100M ARR and beyond.

What you'll do

  • Film and produce high-quality videos with a primary emphasis on crafting compelling ads for our paid advertising campaigns.

  • View a sample ad here.

  • Conceptualize, storyboard, and produce engaging direct response videos that drive action and conversions.

  • Appear on camera when needed in ads, explainer videos, and other branded content.

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align video content with our broader advertising goals and strategies.

  • While you'll be part of a collaborative creative team, we’re looking for someone who is also self-driven and capable of independent work. Continuously innovate and test new video formats and strategies for paid advertising to maximize ROI.

  • Assess video performance metrics, adapting strategies based on analytical insights, especially in the context of advertising outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Must be located in the Toronto metropolitan area due to our studio's location.

  • 3+ years of experience in video production, with specific expertise in crafting direct response videos and paid advertising content.

  • Strong experience in producing videos that cater to B2B audiences, driving measurable results and conversions.

  • Technical abilities pertaining to video production. Must be able to set up lights, mics, and have an eye for framing.

  • A willingness to be on camera for ads, YouTube videos, and social posts. Don’t worry, none of us are Oscar-worthy actors. 

  • A portfolio showcasing your adeptness in video creation, and your on-camera presence. Must be able to speak on the performance and effectiveness of their videos.

  • Previous stint with a marketing or brand team, or a close collaboration with them in a video producer capacity.

  • Unparalleled attention to detail and time-management skills.

  • Stellar command of the English language — both verbal and written.
