Associate Product Manager

We’re looking for an associate product manager to join the team at Theorem. In this role, you will support senior product managers leading squads of 1-2 designers and 2-3 engineers and work directly with customers to build complex custom software applications.

Responsibilities

• Work along with senior product managers on an agile team, including backlog grooming, triage and prioritization, and cross-functional coordination

• Responsible for supporting senior product team members in defining the scope of development for new product features, ongoing feature improvements and initiatives in flight

• Write and prioritize user stories and define acceptance criteria

• Track progress, assess risks, coordinate delivery, and actively communicate contingency and mitigation plans for the team.

• Run various ad-hoc research and business analyses to assess opportunities and risks.

• Speak to overall design by converting ideas and goals into wireframes with a UX/UI designer, often developing the first set of sketches yourself or collaboratively. At times you may even make changes to wires yourself 

• Partner with engineering to oversee the delivery of each project milestone by managing/collaborating with the project team and senior product managers

Qualifications & Skills

• 2+ years of software product related experience

• You have lived the end to end software product lifecycle Quickly ramp up on a new business domain

• Experience creating and making changes to wireframes a plus

• Experience using Figma, Miro and other modern collaborative design tools

• Previous consulting experience preferred

• Previous experience working in an enterprise environment

• Previous remote work experience

• Technical background knowledge preferred

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Solid technical background preferred

When the environment permits, you may be expected to travel approximately 25% of the time. This role is with a large client that operates on the west coast, so Pacific Timezone alignment is preferred.
