DevOps Engineer
The Role
TimelyCare has an immediate opening for an DevOps Engineer to work as an integral part of our Engineering Team!
As the DevOps Engineer, you will help design, develop, and maintain the business's cloud architecture. You will work closely with team engineers to implement security best practices, CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot production related incidents. You will use your technical experience with internet technologies like IP networking, Linux hosts, HTTP, and Databases. You will have a good understanding of cloud technologies and service providers, such as AWS and Azure.
Travel
5-10 percent of travel may be required.
What You'll Do
Configure, design, and maintain Linux container based highly available AWS cloud architectures
Work with other Engineering Team members to troubleshoot and resolve production and development infrastructure related issues
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines
What You Bring
Required Skills:
5+ years of Linux experience
Experience with and knowledge of web application technologies including load balancers, certificates, and caching proxies.
Fundamental IP networking knowledge
Strong shell scripting skills and a general familiarity with most programming languages
Familiarity with Database technologies, both SQL and noSQL
Experience working with containerization (Docker, LXC, AWS ECS or Kubernetes)
Experience working with cloud technologies
Technical knowledge of security issues around internet infrastructure such as those listed in the OWASP top 10.
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view
Preferred Skills:
BA or BS or equivalent experience
AWS Solutions Architect or similar certifications
Experience in a startup environment
Programming skills in Node.js/Javascript (ES6)
Experience working in healthcare

The salary range for this opportunity is $110,000 – $120,000 per year, depending on education and experience. This is the base pay. You will be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to the base pay, to be discussed during the interview process. NOTE - Sales roles also include incentive commission which will also be discussed during the interview process.
