Product Manager

Your Part in Our Mission:

Working closely with the Product Management team, you will have a significant strategic impact and influence the direction of the Tinybeans platform. Tinybeans is on a mission to reach 20M users in the next 3 years and you will be one of the key players on our path to success. Our team is looking for a product manager to join our Consumer App team and help design the future of Tinybeans. You’ll have a fast-paced, iterative, growth-centric approach: forming hypotheses, running experiments, and analyzing results. Through strong customer understanding, strategy, and partnership with engineering, marketing, user experience, and data science, your work will drive engagement and scale. You’ll also help us to further refine our growth focus and evangelize a culture of experimentation and analysis.

You will…

  • Develop a deep understanding of users’ workflows and needs, our competition, and business objectives to drive strategy, roadmap, and user stories

  • Work closely with a diverse team to conceptualize and release features that improve engagement, retention, and growth

  • Lead results reporting and recommend next steps; pivot and iterate based on findings

  • Evangelize growth and encourage experimentation within the team and broader organization

  • Facilitate product discovery, and validation with customers, by generating hypotheses and new concept ideas, and conducting user research using a wide variety of methods (surveys, interviews, user testing, etc.)

  • Measure the success and impact of releases and product development with clearly defined goals and measurable metrics

  • Incorporate both quantitative and qualitative research into the product process, using this data for decision-making, prioritization, and product portfolio growth

  • Identify key market trends and translate them into potential business opportunities and solutions

  • Present insights and key findings to leadership

Requirements

You have …

  • 2+ years experience in product management and technical architecture of web applications and/or media products

  • 2+ years crafting mobile and web product experiences/examples through mobile wireframes and mockups - concept through launch.

  • Experience leading design, feature breakdown and projects/products from inception to shipped software

  • Experience in running product experiments and leveraging product analytics

  • You are comfortable facilitating planning and decision-making across several teams, including partners, and know how to encourage and empower teams to get things done

  • You have sound business judgment as well as ability to analyze qualitatively, quantitatively, problem-solve, and prioritize

  • You have strong written and oral communications skills, and can clearly communicate to technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels

  • You have experience with data driven product development and knowledge of agile methodologies

Education & experience...

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent business experience

  • You have a solid understanding of technical concepts and ability to communicate well with engineers.

  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
