FP&A Intern

As an integral part of our team, you'll gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and expense management processes, utilizing tools like Planful to drive efficiency and accuracy. Whether you're delving into variance analysis, collaborating with teammates, or assisting with headcount forecasting, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact. This internship opportunity runs from June 3rd - August 30th 2024.

What You'll Do:

• Utilize and create reports in Planful, our FP&A software tool

• Develop an understanding of the monthly Budget vs. Actual (BvA) reporting and re-forecasting process for Operating Expense (OpEx)

• Monthly maintenance of OpEx data in Planful

• Review upcoming vendor expense renewals

• Assist in weekly recruiting Headcount forecast

• Assist in configuring and administering our asset management software tool, Oomnitza

• Adhoc reporting, as needed, in Planful & Oomnitza

You’re a great fit for this role if:

• You are majoring in Business, Finance, or Accounting

•  Interested in a fast-paced start-up environment for a SaaS business

•  Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel/Google Suite formulas and functionality

•  Experience with variance analysis is a plus but not required

•  Experience utilizing an FP&A software tool is a plus but not required

•  Ability to collaborate within a Finance team and cross-functionally with other departments

•  Ideally, you have recently graduated or plan to graduate by Dec'24

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:

• This internship is remote, U.S. based 

• This internship is $20/hour for 35 hours per week

• This internship runs from June 3rd 2024 - August 30th
