About the job:
As Upside’s Content Marketing Manager, you will develop and implement content strategies across the company, to increase our corporate online presence and improve B2B sales efforts. We’re seeking a passionate and creative content manager who loves technology and wants to grow their career at a company whose mission is to help rebuild brick and mortar commerce.
What you’ll do:
Collaborate across functions to build and lead a content marketing strategy and editorial plan/calendar to meet business objectives, namely to drive brand awareness, sales enablement, lead generation, user engagement, and user retention
Develop a merchant-facing voice that is consistent with our brand voice, style, and tone
Track key market trends and competitive messages to influence the content creation strategy and create the necessary content to address key trends and competitive positioning with POVs, insights, proactive statements, strategic stories, etc.
Write and produce compelling and relevant content that drives thought leadership and product understanding through blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, infographics, merchant stories, videos, and more
Manage a team of freelancers that support content creation
What you need:
5-8 years of professional marketing experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Experience with the B2B tech space
Deep understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
Self-starter work ethic, entrepreneurial personality
Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
Ability to manage and supervise a diverse group of contractors and simultaneously work toward many company initiatives
