Digital Product Designer

About the Job

We Are Affective is a digital experience design agency that puts emotion at the centre of everything we create. We believe the best digital products don’t just work - they feel right. Our work spans mobile app design, interaction design, and motion, crafting experiences that genuinely connect with the people who use them.

The Role:

We’re looking for a mid-level Product Designer to join our fully remote team. You’ll work across the full design process - from early-stage wireframes and UX strategy through to polished UI, interactions, and motion. You’re comfortable owning a project end-to-end and collaborating closely with clients and developers alike.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design mobile app experiences for iOS and Android, from concept through to handoff.

  • Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to communicate ideas quickly and clearly.

  • Craft high-fidelity UI that is both visually refined and deeply considered.

  • Design micro-interactions, transitions, and motion to bring interfaces to life.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand goals and translate them into compelling design solutions.

  • Work closely with developers to ensure accurate, high-quality implementation.

  • Contribute to internal design processes, tooling, and standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3-5 years of product design experience, ideally with a strong mobile portfolio.

  • Proficiency in Figma, including components, auto-layout, and prototyping.

  • A solid grasp of UX principles - you think about user behaviour, not just aesthetics.

  • Experience designing interactions and motion (After Effects, Principle, or Figma-native).

  • An eye for detail and a high bar for visual quality.

  • Clear communication skills and confidence presenting work to clients.

  • Ability to manage your time and priorities independently in a remote environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in fintech, healthcare, automotive, or luxury brand app design.

  • Familiarity with iOS and Android design guidelines (HIG, Material Design).

  • Basic understanding of front-end development and design tokens.

  • Experience with user testing and research.

Don't wait, tomorrow could be too late.
