Digital Design Intern

👋Hi there, friend! We are excited to announce our next WebMechanix Academy class - launching in May of 2024! This is a paid internship ($15/hr) designed to kickstart your career at a digital marketing agency. It’s fully remote too!

In case we've never met before, we're WebMechanix - an award-winning digital marketing agency based in Columbia, MD. We develop and manage high-impact performance marketing programs for over 60+ clients, whether that be through a lead generation campaign, search engine optimization, nurturing prospects and enabling sales, creating compelling ads, improving user experience, or creating and deploying custom technical solutions.

Our internship program is designed to train you on the basics of digital while also offering the potential to convert to a full-time position. Join a team of 60+ marketers, developers, and creatives who are eager to share their knowledge with you this summer!

Here's what you'll do:

• Get hands-on experience with:

  • Performance creative (creating visually appealing ads that drive results)

  • Creative ideation (generating innovative ideas for campaigns)

  • Motion design (creating engaging animations and graphics)

  • Web design (designing user-friendly and visually appealing websites)

  • Branding (developing and maintaining brand identity)

• Meet with your mentor every week to discuss career growth, goal setting, and more

Requirements

Here is what you have:

• Some experience in marketing (College senior/graduate or self-taught)

• Availability and ability to work 20+ hours per week

• Genuine internist and desire to build a career in the digital marketing industry

• Previous marketing internships or hands-on experience is preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
