Senior Java Backend Engineer (AWS)

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our engineering team and help build scalable, cloud-native backend systems.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in Java development 

• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot

• Solid understanding of AWS serverless ecosystem (Lambda, IAM, SQS/SNS, CloudFormation)

• Proficiency with container technologies such as Docker

• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous communication

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and infrastructure-as-code principles

• Good knowledge of unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, etc.)

• Degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent combination of relevant education

• Upper-intermediate level of English or higher

Responsibilities:

• Design and write clean, high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.

• Design and build cloud-native and service-oriented solutions on AWS and Kubernetes environments.

• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices within a modular architecture

• Ensure high code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and performance optimization

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and (nice to have) Terraform

• Collaborate with architecture, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and security

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
