Solutions Consultant

OVERVIEW 

This Solution Consultant role will become the highest level product solution expert in the business with the ability to demo strategically and effectively prospect persona and industry. Time will be spent perfecting demo paths, executing live demos with AE/prospect, and working collaboratively with Product and Sales to fill market-feature gaps.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Subject matter expert

  • Serve as an expert on our product, understanding all technical aspects of the capabilities and how it all fits into prospective customers’ process and culture

  • Serve as an expert in People Operations technology and the trends in research to use during conversations with prospective clients

  • Strategically advise People Operations leaders on how they can achieve their organizational objectives and goals as it relates to our product and their process

  • Support our Sales Enablement team in the development of product related training for 15Five sales staff

  • Act as a critical core communications channel between Sales teams and Product Teams

  • Ensure that outcomes Product team builds for are being communicated during the sales process with prospective clients

  • Responsible for ensuring outcomes sought by prospects are relayed back to the Product Team


  • Aligning outcomes to product solutions

  • Serve as the resident expert when it comes to taking outcomes from prospects and showing easy to digest solutions in our products

  • Help drive accountability within sales team on discovery process and what is passed to SC team 

  • Main source of knowledge sharing within organization on what we are seeing/hearing in demos


  • Emphasizing storytelling in demos by persona, vertical, or current workflow

  • Building out demo accounts by persona and vertical 

  • Owning storylines and thinking through how demo flow and solutions are landing with prospects

  • Expert on 336 potential demo flows by vertical


  • Technical resource for pre-sales

  • Confidently perform demonstrations of our product to executives, technical IT leaders, and end users during the sales process

  • Play a key role in driving deals forward by serving as the technical resource for prospective clients, while supporting

  • Expansion or enterprise account executives (AEs) in developing the executive connection

  • Accompany the AE or Expansion team onsite/remote with clients and help in facilitating any pre-sales (internal) meetings that are needed 

  • Stays up to date on competitor functionality, and points of differentiation


  • Project manager for large pilots or expansions

  • Support a managed trial process

  • Project manage pre-sale execution of project plan for a large pilot or expansions

  • Serve as the main point of contact for the customer’s project team to help facilitate a roll out plan

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Genuine passion for 15Five’s mission and vision 

  • 3+ years experience in an SC/SE role (enterprise SaaS industry strongly preferred)

  • Expertise in market-facing activities, ability to handle tough prospects and technical aspects of technology platforms with ease

  • Experience and comfort with delivering presentations to executive level audience

  • Strong technical skillset and understanding of how features flow into real world outcomes

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous start-up environment

  • Understanding of complex, consultative enterprise selling

  • Certified on how to show the top two demo flows

  • Demonstrate that you’re increasing expertise on people operations technology and trends by contributing to driving large deals forward during the sales process

  • Demonstrate understanding of the competitive landscape and differentiators for all the players in our space

  • Lead a prospective customer’s project plan team from start to deal closure and hand off to the implementation and Success teams
