Performance Marketing Manager

Full-time | Remote | Reports to: Senior Growth Strategist

42 Agency is a B2B Marketing Operations & Demand Generation agency helping high-growth SaaS companies like Smile, ProfitWell, and Teamwork scale their marketing efforts. We partner with clients to build smart Demand Gen strategies, set up GTM systems, and execute campaigns that drive pipeline.

We’re hiring a Performance Marketer to execute paid media campaigns, report on results, and collaborate with our Senior Growth Strategist to drive real outcomes for our clients.

What You’ll Be Doing 

  • Monitor and optimize active campaigns daily across Google, Bing, LinkedIn, and Meta.

  • Proactively identify and flag performance issues or anomalies in lead quality.

  • Collaborate with the Senior Growth Strategist to prioritize tasks and implement campaign improvements.

  • Execute Paid Search campaigns in Google and Bing Ads.

  • Build custom audiences and launch BOFU campaigns on LinkedIn.

  • Conduct keyword research and write compelling ad copy.

  • Build weekly and monthly reports using HubSpot, Salesforce, Sheets, and Databox.

  • Assist in preparing client QBRs with data summaries and insights.

  • Support quarterly planning and roadmap sessions for clients.

What You’ll Bring

  • 4+ years of B2B Demand Generation experience (agency or in-house).

  • Proven hands-on experience in:

    • Paid Search (Google & Bing)

    • Paid Social (LinkedIn, Meta)

    • Analytics & Reporting (Databox, GA, HubSpot, Salesforce)

  • Clear understanding of B2B funnel metrics: MQL, SQL, SQA, pipeline influence.

  • Strong communication skills—written and verbal.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple client accounts.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, partially async, fully remote environment.

  • Curious, adaptable, and always learning.

  • High GSD (Gets Stuff Done) quotient.

  • Ad Platforms: Google Ads, Bing Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads

  • CRM & Automation: HubSpot, Salesforce

  • Analytics & Reporting: Databox, Google Sheets

  • Collaboration: ClickUp, Slack, Loom, Google Drive

  • AI Tools: ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, Copy.ai, Perplexity, and other prompt-based tools for research, ideation, and productivity support

Compensation

  • Base Salary Range: $70,000 – $80,000 CAD/year + variable bous baed on profit sharing & retention.

    • Final offer depends on your location and experience, as we use a Cost of Living (COL) adjustment model to ensure fairness across our globally distributed team.
