Business Development Representative

AgencyAnalytics is on a growth trajectory and we are looking for a Business Development Representative for our sales team. This is a training position on the sales team with the expectation that successful candidates will be promoted to Account Executives in 6-12 months.

As a Business Development Representative, you will be working individually and as a team to support our Account Executives. You will be responsible for the outbound efforts of generating qualified opportunities by using different tools, conducting research, and contacting potential customers. Ultimately, you will be focusing on opportunity generation and qualification, to ensure a full pipeline for our Sales Team.

This position is ideal for those who are looking to start or advance a career in SaaS sales.

🇨🇦 The position is 100% remote.

Key responsibilities

  • Researching, prospecting (calling), and qualifying opportunities with marketing agencies.

  • Scheduling discovery calls and meetings for our Account Executives.

  • Identifying tactics, and strategies that can lead to additional growth opportunities.

  • Understanding the AgencyAnalytics product (training will be provided) offerings to communicate the value to prospective customers.

Requirements

  • A University degree.

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English. Additional languages are an asset.

  • Goal-driven, independent, and a self-starter.

  • 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing role is an asset.

  • 1+ years in a marketing agency or relevant marketing experience is an asset.

  • Experience in SaaS is an asset.

  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably HubSpot is an asset.
