The Role

We’re looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist — a cross-functional operator who can bridge marketing execution and backend systems.

You’ll help power the growth engine behind APE BORN by improving funnels, automations, data reporting, and campaign efficiency across multiple platforms.

This role is perfect for someone who:

• Understands marketing fundamentals but loves the technical side.

• Enjoys optimizing workflows, building automations, and connecting tools.

• Wants to work directly with leadership to streamline systems and scale a 7–8 figure brand.

Key Responsibilities

🧠 E-Commerce & Funnel Operations

• Manage and update Shopify product listings, variants, and collections.

• Set up and maintain product bundles, upsells, and subscriptions.

• Build, edit, and optimize funnels using Funnelish, GemPages, or ClickFunnels.

• Assist with A/B testing (headlines, CTAs, product layouts, and offers).

⚙️ Automation & Technical Systems

• Build workflows using Zapier, Make (Integromat), or Shopify Flow.

• Write or edit light code (Python, JavaScript, or Liquid) for bulk edits, data cleanup, or automation logic.

• Build and maintain performance dashboards (Google Sheets or Looker Studio).

• Automate repetitive manual tasks across marketing, fulfillment, and operations.

💬 Marketing Execution & Copywriting

• Support with Email & SMS marketing setup (Klaviyo, SMSBump, or similar).

• Write or refine short-form marketing copy (emails, landing pages, SMS, product offers).

• Implement campaign tracking, segmentation, and reporting.

• Maintain and optimize customer reviews, UGC, and testimonials for conversions.

📊 Analytics & Reporting

• Create weekly KPI dashboards tracking performance (sales, conversion, AOV, LTV, etc.).

• Identify funnel bottlenecks and provide data-backed recommendations.

• Generate automation health checks and performance reports.

🧩 Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

• Identify inefficiencies in workflows and propose systems to fix them.

• Research new tools, automations, or integrations that can save time or improve performance.

• Document SOPs and processes for future scalability.

Requirements

✅ Proven experience in Shopify and at least one funnel builder (Funnelish, ClickFunnels, or GemPages).
✅ Hands-on experience with Zapier, Make, or Google Apps Script.
✅ Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or Liquid (enough to automate or manipulate data).
✅ Understanding of e-commerce marketing fundamentals (CRO, funnels, email/SMS, AOV, ROAS, etc.).
✅ Comfortable writing clean, persuasive marketing copy.
✅ Data-driven mindset and strong attention to detail.
✅ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
✅ “Can-do” attitude — you figure things out quickly and execute without waiting for direction.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with AI tools for automation or creative workflows.

• Background in performance marketing or media buying.

• Knowledge of Shopify Flow, Google Analytics, or Looker Studio.

• Experience with paid traffic optimization and offer testing.
