Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our Project Management team. This role will play a critical part in supporting project delivery through data-driven insights, reporting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with Jira and other project management tools and will help drive operational excellence across our implementation workflows.

Essential Duties

Reporting & Dashboard Development

• Design and maintain monthly and quarterly reports on project performance, timelines, and resource utilization.

• Develop and optimize dashboards in Jira and other BI tools to visualize key metrics (e.g., Time to Value, Project Cost, Backlog Trends).

• Support executive-level reporting with clear summaries and visualizations.

Forecasting & Planning

• Analyze historical data to forecast go-live date shifts, resource availability, and workload distribution.

• Collaborate with PMs to refine project planning models using real-time data.

Data Management & Auditing

• Ensure data integrity across Jira and related systems through regular audits and reconciliation.

• Maintain and improve data pipelines for tracking QA/UAT results, implementation workflows, and project milestones (e.g., Requirements Gathering, Data Mapping, Production Deployment).

 Project Health Tracking

• Monitor and report on project health indicators including status trends, risk flags, and milestone adherence.

• Develop automated alerts or reports for early detection of delays or scope changes.

 Ongoing Analysis & Insights

• Provide ad hoc analysis to support decision-making across implementation and scalability initiatives.

• Identify patterns and opportunities for process improvement based on core metrics and team feedback.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a project management or operations environment.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Proficiency with Jira, Excel, and BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, eazyBI).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

The pay range for this role is:

125,000 - 130,000 USD per year (Remote (United States))
