About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team in a unique, hybrid role. As a Product & Agile Delivery Manager, you will wear multiple hats: leading agile project delivery, defining product features as a Product Manager, and serving as a Business Analyst to translate client needs into actionable requirements.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and clients, to ensure project success.

This is a fully remote, full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain product roadmaps.

  • Communicate with client stakeholders to determine project requirements and objectives.

  • Conduct requirements-gathering interviews with stakeholders.

  • Maintain and document artifacts throughout the epic lifecycle.

  • Run reports to ensure the project stays on track to meet deliverables, schedule, and quality standards.

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to assess and identify risks, escalating concerns to the appropriate parties for mitigation.

Agile Delivery & Project Management

  • Develop and maintain project plans and timelines, ensuring they meet client requirements and deadlines.

  • Facilitate all sprint ceremonies (planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives) in accordance with agile development practices.

  • Remove roadblocks from the team's path to keep project work on track.

  • Manage the team's capacity against their workload to ensure a balanced effort in each sprint.

  • Provide regular project status reports to client stakeholders, including budget, resources, technical issues, and user testing results.

  • Ensure the team is appropriately staffed and on track to deliver scheduled work.

  • Depending on the project, this role may require on-call duties.

Team Leadership & Client Management

  • Lead and mentor project team members, guiding them in their individual contributor duties.

  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring their satisfaction.

Qualifications

Experience

  • At least 7 years of experience in an Agile role with a minimum of 2-3 years directly applying agile development practices.

  • Experience leading complex projects, including managing milestones, dependencies, and integrations with significant risk or scale.

  • Proven experience working with product, design, and engineering teams as a cohesive unit.

  • A track record of using agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.

  • Experience with the use and management of ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Confluence, GitHub).

  • Prior experience in a hybrid Product Manager, Business Analyst, or Agile Delivery Manager role is highly valued.

  • Highly skilled in facilitating communication and managing the psychological safety of a team.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Skills

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with project management in a government context (state or federal).

  • Experience working on iterative projects using prototypes, product pilots, and user research.

  • Track record of introducing and expanding agile transformation and best practices.

  • Experience launching new production systems with high public visibility in a fast-changing regulatory environment.

  • Experience working with development teams building custom software.

Additional Requirements

  • All work must be conducted within the U.S., excluding U.S. territories.

  • Some state and federal contracts require U.S. citizenship or public trust/security clearance.

  • You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship.
