Bill’s Electric Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Video Editor to support our creative and marketing teams in delivering high-quality video content across multiple platforms. This role is ideal for a technically skilled editor who understands post-production workflows and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will work closely with Senior Editors, Creative Directors, and production teams to help shape engaging video content that aligns with brand standards and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Support Senior Editors and Creative Directors in producing video content for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube), brand videos, sizzle reels, and case studies.
Import, transcode, sync, and organize raw footage and assets following established post-production workflows.
Build rough cuts, assemblies, and string-outs from creative briefs or scripts with clear timelines and labeling systems.
Assist with basic color correction, audio leveling, and light motion graphics under senior editor guidance.
Maintain meticulous organization of project files and manage storage workflows across shared drives and cloud platforms.
Export, encode, and deliver final video assets in multiple formats, codecs, and aspect ratios optimized for digital platforms.
Manage revisions, version control, and final delivery according to specifications and feedback.
Collaborate with creative, marketing, and production teams to ensure consistency with brand guidelines.
Troubleshoot common post-production issues and assist with basic software or hardware setup when necessary.
Stay current on emerging editing tools, platform requirements, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on video editing or post-production experience (freelance and internship experience welcome).
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; familiarity with After Effects and the Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Strong understanding of video codecs, formats, terminology, and post-production workflows.
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to take feedback constructively.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
Must be available to work onsite, Monday through Friday.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve.
Experience working with footage from ARRI, RED, Canon, or Phantom cameras.
On-set DIT or production support experience.
Strong project and file management skills.
Creative sensibility with an understanding of modern digital and brand storytelling.
Experience producing video content for corporate brands, service-based businesses, or marketing campaigns.

Annual salary range: $80,000 – $90,000 (based on experience, skills, and location)
