
International Payroll Manager
At Boundless, we help companies employ people anywhere in the world compliantly. We’re looking for an International Payroll Manager to take ownership of payroll processing across multiple countries, focusing on European payroll.
This is a hands-on role: you’ll be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and compliant payrolls in a hybrid model (in-house and through partners). You’ll manage complex cases directly, support the Customer Experience team on escalations, and work closely with Finance on reconciliations, reporting, and forecasting.
We’re looking for someone with 3–5 years of international payroll experience who can work confidently and autonomously. If you’re also curious about technology and excited by the chance to use automation and AI to make payroll smarter, this could be the role for you.
What you’ll do
Process payrolls across several countries in a hybrid model (in-house + partners).
Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance, supported by local partners and your own research.
Manage complex payroll cases and act as an escalation point for the Customer Experience team.
Collaborate with Finance on reconciliations, cash forecasting, and accurate reporting.
Maintain up-to-date processes, documentation, and controls.
Explore automation, AI, and technology to improve payroll delivery.
What we’re looking for
3–5 years’ international payroll experience (European payroll expertise preferred).
Strong knowledge of payroll, benefits, pensions, and tax.
Confidence and autonomy in managing payrolls end to end, both internally and via partners.
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills with high attention to detail.
A collaborative mindset – you’ll join a dynamic team and take part in cross-functional projects.
Curiosity for technology, automation, and AI-driven solutions.
