Senior Content Marketing Lead (Brand Advocacy, Ambassador & Word-of-Mouth Growth)

BrandChamp is building the future of people-powered ecommerce growth.

Our mission is to help ecommerce brands grow by turning their biggest fans into their most powerful marketing channel. We make it simple for brands to launch and scale brand advocacy and ambassador programs that generate real, trackable revenue, while building deeper community, trust, and long-term loyalty.

We believe the next era of ecommerce is won through word of mouth at scale. Authentic voices outperform ads. Communities outperform campaigns. Customer advocates outperform cold traffic. BrandChamp exists to make advocacy measurable, repeatable, and scalable.

We’re hiring a Senior Content Marketing Lead to own content end-to-end at a growth-stage startup, from strategy to execution to performance. You’ll be the person who turns our customer insights, product strengths, and market POV into the content engine that drives BrandChamp’s next phase of growth.

This role is for someone who wants real ownership. You’ll build the machine, not just operate it.

The stage + why this role matters

BrandChamp is past “does this work?” and deep into “how do we scale it?”
We have customers getting real ROI from advocacy programs, a product with clear differentiation, and a market waking up to brand advocacy as a core growth channel.

What we need now is a content leader who can:

  • turn our real customer outcomes into category leadership

  • build high-volume, high-quality content without a big team

  • drive qualified demand and product adoption

  • help us become the most trusted voice in advocacy and ambassador marketing

If you like early-stage energy, clear stakes, and work that compounds, this is that role.

What you’ll own

1) Build our category and content strategy

  • Own the strategy that makes BrandChamp the go-to authority in brand advocacy, ambassador marketing, and word-of-mouth growth.

  • Define our POV, pillars, editorial standards, and roadmap.

  • Turn customer wins, market trends, and product direction into content that shapes how ecommerce brands think.

2) Create content across every channel (hands-on)

At our stage, this is a player-coach role. You’ll personally drive content across:

  • Growth + SEO: blog, landing pages, pillar pages, case studies, reports, playbooks, templates.

  • Lifecycle: onboarding + adoption sequences, nurture streams, re-engagement content.

  • Social: LinkedIn and X/Twitter, founder-voice posts, carousels, short-form scripts.

  • Sales enablement: decks, one-pagers, objection content, ROI narratives.

  • Customer education: help docs, webinars, workshops, in-app guidance.

  • Video: tutorials, guides, how to, interviews, product updates.

You’ll set the standard, be the primary creator early on, and scale contributors over time.

3) Be AI-native and create a speed advantage

  • Build an AI-assisted workflow for research, drafting, editing, repurposing, and distribution.

  • Use AI to increase output and quality, not to flood the internet with noise.

  • Continuously test new AI tools and systems to keep BrandChamp faster than the market.

4) Stay close to customers and the product

You’ll work tightly with:

  • Customer Success to mine adoption data, QBR insights, and churn signals for content ideas that teach and convert.

  • Product to translate features into clear, differentiated narratives and launches.

  • Sales to turn objections into content that shortens cycles and raises trust.

This role succeeds by being close to reality, not abstract “content calendars.”

5) Drive measurable outcomes

  • Own KPIs: rankings, qualified traffic, conversion, subscriber growth, pipeline influence, adoption lift.

  • Run weekly experiments on topics, formats, CTAs, and distribution.

  • Refresh old content so performance compounds.

What success looks like (6–12 months)

  • BrandChamp is viewed as a top voice in brand advocacy and ambassador marketing.

  • Content drives a consistent stream of qualified leads and sales-assisted wins.

  • Our education content materially improves onboarding and adoption.

  • We have an AI-accelerated content system that scales without needing a huge team.

  • Content becomes a core growth lever across marketing, CS, product, and sales.

Who you are

You’re a strategic content leader who loves building in early-stage environments.

You have:

  • 5–10+ years in content marketing (SaaS/ecommerce strongly preferred).

  • Real expertise in brand advocacy, ambassador programs, referrals/word-of-mouth, community-led growth, loyalty/retention, or customer-driven acquisition.

  • A portfolio that shows both taste and impact, not just content, but results.

  • Strong SEO instincts + the ability to create modern multi-channel narratives.

  • Comfort being hands-on and moving fast without perfect inputs.

  • Exceptional clarity in writing: you simplify the complex without dumbing it down.

You’re AI-native:

  • You already use AI daily for content work.

  • You know how to keep voice consistent and rigor high.

  • You build workflows and systems, not one-off outputs.

Bonus points if you…

  • Have helped define a category or shift market perception through content.

  • Have managed freelancers or small creative teams.

  • Can do lightweight design/video (Canva, Figma, Descript, CapCut).

  • Understand ecommerce metrics and what convinces a marketing leader to buy.

Why BrandChamp

  • You’ll build a content engine from the inside of a real category shift.

  • High ownership, high leverage. Your work directly affects growth, adoption, retention, and revenue.

  • AI-first culture. We want AI as a multiplier, not a gimmick.

  • Real proof. Our customers are driving measurable revenue through advocacy, you’ll have substance to work with.

  • A mission that’s right for the future. People-powered growth is the next durable advantage in ecommerce.
