Technical Support Engineer

Shift Hours: Saturday - Wednesday, 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM EST

I will start by saying that ChemiCloud is a small web hosting company, and we're in this market for about six years now. Even if we're a small team, we're growing fast, and our customers love us. You will find ChemiCloud in the top 5 on most of the Top Web Hosting websites.

We grow every day, and this is why we're hiring new people every few months. We're looking for someone with advanced cPanel/WHM server administration experience (UI and CLI), with knowledge of CloudLinux, LiteSpeed, and Imunify360. 

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Must have experience working in the web hosting industry (3+ years)

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

  • Intimate knowledge of cPanel, how it works, and how to fix errors with it

  • Up-to-date cPanel University certifications (all of them)

  • Excellent SSH and command-line skills

  • Ability to interpret email and weblogs

  • Knowledge of Mod_Security, PHP applications, Web Errors, Email Errors, CSF, CloudLinux, LiteSpeed, Nginx, Apache, Imunify360, MailChannels.

  • Patience and perseverance to provide exceptional technical support to non-technical users via tickets. 

We're offering 24 days PTO per year; the average salary for this role $1400-$2200, and it all depends on your current skills.
