About the Role

We are hiring for multiple design roles across squads and pillars including Credit and Chat. You’ll bring fresh thinking, a strong product sense, and a passion for human-centered design to uncover unmet needs and transform early-stage concepts into compelling, testable experiences.

You’ll thrive in ambiguity, using creativity and strategic mindset to design what doesn’t yet exist.

Key Responsibilities

Identify new product opportunities by deeply understanding user problems, industry trends, and Cleo’s unique strengths
Lead early-stage ideation, sketch bold product directions, and prototype innovative concepts
Design and run lean research and testing processes to validate or de-risk assumptions quickly
Bring your squad together to form and communicate a vision
Execute polished UI designs in close collaboration with developers
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to shape product direction
Craft compelling visual and verbal narratives to communicate the value and potential of new product ideas
Build strategic business cases using customer insight, data, and market understanding to advocate for promising concepts

What We’re Looking For

Several years of relevant experience and passion for growth-focused work at a senior level
Experience in consumer-facing fintech or personal finance products
Strong portfolio of mobile app design work showing high-quality execution in high-growth, product-led businesses
Outcome-focused mindset, motivated by balancing business goals and user experience through incremental, experiment-led impact
Ability to dive deep into data and details to optimize existing features and journeys
Proactive problem solver who can bring structure to ambiguous problems and generate stakeholder buy-in
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, partnering successfully with tech and marketing stakeholders to deliver growth impact
