Your Role

As a Growth Marketer, you’ll accelerate Clerk’s growth by scaling and optimizing our most effective acquisition channels. You’ll leverage your expertise in engaging developer communities to ideate, execute, and maintain creative marketing experiments that improve awareness and adoption. This is a high-autonomy role for someone who thrives on ownership and impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the full channel lifecycle: strategy, execution, optimization, and accountability for performance.

  • Run high-velocity experiments to increase reach and adoption among developers.

  • Track and report performance, measuring impact with clarity—your north star is driving activated sign-ups.

  • Stay ahead of developer trends, finding new ways to naturally reach our audience.

Who You Are

  • Based in North America, within ±3 hours of U.S. Mountain Time (MDT, UTC−06:00).

  • Proven experience scaling at least one growth channel from early traction to repeatable contributions, with measurable results.

  • Deep expertise in at least one of our key channels: YouTube creator partnerships, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO/GEO), Open Source sponsorships, or Paid Social.

  • Competitive and driven to outperform yesterday’s results.

  • Self-directed and autonomous, comfortable with ambiguity and minimal direction.

  • Detail-oriented, knowing which details matter and how to share them effectively with the team.

  • Data-driven decision maker, balancing hypotheses, metrics, and instincts.

  • Creative problem-solver, thriving on experimentation and iterative learning.
