Job Description:
We are looking for a results driven, meticulous Finance Manager who will manage and deliver our finance obligations and requirements for our new decentralised casino business, coinpoker with its legal entity in Cyprus.
This role will be reporting into the Chief Finance Officer (CFO).
Core Tasks:
Responsibilities (Financial Control)
Full suite of financial control to include:
Bookkeeping in Xero
Bank (fiat) reconciliations
Bank (crypto) reconciliations
Revenue recognition and reconciliations
Local VAT reporting and returns
Local payroll and PAYE filing
Other aspects of financial control
Intangible assets register and amortisation/impairment schedule
Dividend administration
Inter-company recharges and transfers
Production and completion of statutory accounts and company tax return
Responsibilities (Management Reporting)
Delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting for P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow statement and supporting qualitative narratives
Variance analysis vs Budget/Forecasts and Qualitative reporting
Analytic reviews and supporting the CMO and other senior business/commercial team members analyse and understand the numbers.
Responsibilities (Other)
Facilitation, collation and reporting of the annual budget
Rolling forecasts
Lead and facilitation of external audit
Point of contact/support with external advisors (accountants & local company director/secretary)
Facilitate and assist with board meetings (pack prep, minutes etc)
AML and local regulatory + banking compliance
Administrative duties
Other ad-hoc tasks required from time to time in line with duties
Skills & Experience
CCAB qualified (ACA/ACCA) or equivalent with a minimum of 3 yrs PQE
Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work to a high level of accuracy
Highly organised and an efficient executor
Effective communicator and keeps the CFO updated on progress & issues
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Sound knowledge of accounting standards (FRS 102/IFRS)
Proficient in accounting software (ie - Xero or equivalent)
Compliance, governance and controls oriented
High level of professional and ethical standards
Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills (Google sheets and/or MS Excel)
