ABOUT THE ROLE
This role will play a crucial role in supporting the Comms8 x InfluenConnect teams across regions.
We are seeking a Data Intern to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about data, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to impactful projects. You’ll work alongside a team of talents, leveraging data to drive marketing insights and operational efficiencies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Extract, clean, and consolidate data from various sources using data scraping techniques and programming tools.
Organise and maintain databases, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Automate workflows and processes to optimise data handling and reporting.
Link and integrate different systems and platforms to ensure seamless data flows.
Provide technical problem-solving support for data integration and processing challenges.
Assist in creating and maintaining campaign and digital data reports, including website traffic analysis
and performance monitoring.
Use web analytics tools to track and interpret website metrics, contributing to actionable insights for
marketing campaigns.
Ad hoc tasks may be assigned as needed and the tasks outlined above may not encompass all duties required in day-to-day operations. The company reserves the right to modify or change the responsibilities of the role in accordance with evolving business needs.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
Proficient in Python, API integration, data scraping, MySQL, and GitHub.
Familiarity with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) and campaign tracking tools.
Capability in organising databases and working with Excel for data consolidation and reporting.
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to data systems and processes.
Keen interest in exploring new tools and methodologies to improve data processes.
