JOB DESCRIPTION

Contáctica is seeking a Tech Lead with 8–10 years of experience in web development, infrastructure, and MarTech solutions — including at least 5 years leading technical teams or complex projects in digital marketing or creative agency environments.

This is a strategic and hands-on role, combining advanced technical expertise, leadership, and vision for innovation to design, build, and scale intelligent digital products that enhance performance, creativity, and automation across marketing operations.

The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in Azure, WordPress, and modern web technologies, with experience integrating AI tools and MarTech platforms (such as CRMs, automation workflows, and data pipelines). You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team to transform business needs into powerful, efficient, and secure technology solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead technical design, architecture, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing digital products and internal tools.

• Guide and mentor developers, promoting best practices in coding standards, documentation, and deployment workflows.

• Integrate AI and automation tools to improve productivity and enable data-driven decision-making across marketing operations.

• Own infrastructure management and DevOps pipelines, ensuring uptime, monitoring, and continuous delivery on Azure and other cloud platforms.

• Develop and optimize WordPress-based ecosystems, including custom themes, plugins, and high-traffic sites.

• Manage integrations with APIs, CRMs, and third-party MarTech systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zapier, Make, n8n, etc.).

• Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, media, analytics, and strategy teams to build solutions that connect technology and marketing impact.

• Implement secure development practices, aligned with OWASP standards and continuous vulnerability assessment.

• Champion innovation, proposing scalable solutions using new technologies (AI, data pipelines, automation, headless CMS, etc.).

• Document systems and promote knowledge sharing within the tech and product teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

• 8+ years of experience in web development, infrastructure, or DevOps.

• 5+ years in technical leadership within a marketing or digital agency.

• Strong expertise in:

  • Azure Cloud (infrastructure, deployments, CI/CD, monitoring).

  • WordPress development (themes, plugins, optimization, scalability).

  • Web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Node.js, Next.js, Astro.js), PHP, MySQL.

  • API integration & automation (Zapier, Make, n8n).

  • Server management: Apache, Nginx, DNS, VPS.

  • Version control: Git (GitHub, GitLab).

• Hands-on experience with AI and MarTech tools, including implementation of automation, predictive analytics, or personalization engines.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD, serverless, monitoring).

• Advanced English level (C1) — able to lead meetings, present solutions, and document in English fluently.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative mindset — capable of moving from strategy to execution seamlessly
