  • Experienced managing and growing Fortune 500 accounts at marketing / digital agencies. 

  • Have experience managing a book of business at least $1M-5M

  • A people person who loves connecting on calls with clients and helping them succeed.

THE ROLE:

You will be an individual contributor and will be expected to:

  1. Nurture and grow the current book of business including Fortune 500 accounts. 

  2. Take on new accounts, cultivate, and grow them.

You will be working alongside a team of podcast producers, PR specialists, and production managers who handle all of the day-to-day execution of the clients work.

Your role is to sit at the intersection of strategy, production, & sales. You will be involved in each account to know what is going on and to make strategic recommendations for growth, although you will not be involved in the logistics of any of the client’s work. 

EXPECTATIONS

  • Understand client’s business initiatives and their history with Content Allies to develop podcasting strategies and growth plans.

  • Develop a strong understanding of opportunities for repeat sales within each target account.

  • Work closely with Content Allies’ Producers & Production Team to build relationships with clients that go beyond a single transaction.

  • Develop roadmaps and ideas for growing each client account. 

  • Attend regular meetings with high-value Fortune 500 clients.

  • Hold at minimum quarterly strategy meetings with lower-value clients. 

  • Execute on a customer success program to systematically grow accounts. 

  • Lead a client appreciation program and develop it further as needed.

  • Work with sales team on creating new SOW’s for expanded work. 

  • Make recommendations and lead development of additional sales enablement assets.

  • Meet quarterly and annual revenue expansion goals.

  • Thoroughly document client details and deal details in established CRM.

  • Think on your client’s behalf - you must be strategic and understand the larger picture, you can’t get caught in the weeds.

  • Manage and develop scalable plan as the Accounts team grows. Train new Accounts team members.

  • Work with Podcast Producers to re-scope projects when needed (upsell, charge appropriately for client requests that are outside of scope.)

WHAT WE OFFER

  • This role will be a combination of a cash base + % of revenue managed structure. There will be no cap on your earnings. 

    • 60-80k base and 3-5% quarterly commission (dependent on base pay)

      • Additional bonus incentives are designed for completely new revenue upsells. 

      • There is also a one time penalty in commissions for losing an enterprise client. 

    • Expected Earnings Year 1: $110,000-$140,000

      • In order to achieve these earnings in year 1 you will need to:

        • Ramp up quickly and learn all facets of the business in the first 90 days. 

          • This will involve you going through training and learning each role and system within the company. As a strategist, you need to understand our operations so you can be a collaborator with the full team. 

        • Shadow existing enterprise accounts under the CEO to begin to build a relationship.

        • Begin taking over enterprise accounts between 60-120 days. 

        • Within 6 months, you should have taken over all existing enterprise accounts as primary contact.

        • Within 3 months you should be taking over any newly signed accounts as primary POC. 

    • Expected Earnings in Years 2-3: $140,000-220,000
