
Senior Accountant (DUS)

What will your day be like?
Assist in the daily accounting operations. Primary focus areas will include cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accruals, payroll, expense management and financial reporting
Complete monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial activities including journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and inter-company transactions
Analyze and explain monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and variances
Coordinates with foreign entities’ accountants for timely financial reporting
Assist in year-end financial audit and other financial compliance reviews as necessary
Work collaboratively with business partners across functions to support business needs
Support the Controller and other finance team members on ad hoc projects
You will be a critical member of the team helping to build and operate a world class month-end close. You will manage the general ledger, reconciliations, and provide audit and financial reporting support focusing on efficiency and quality for multiple entities within the U.S.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
4-6 years experience in accounting
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
Hands-on experience with accounting software package like NetSuite or similar
GAAP/IFRS or equivalent accrual-based accounting knowledge
Attention to detail and ability to analyze number discrepancies
Experience with month-end close, consolidations in a multiple currency environment, including recording inter-company transactions
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple multiple projects while simultaneously meeting company goals and deadlines
Experience working with cross functional and cross-organizational teams
Not required, but nice to have!
Experience with system implementations
Experience with M&A and integrations
Experience with group accounting and/or consolidations
Working within the professional services and/or technology industry

The anticipated salary range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we're flexible.
