
DBA Community Lead
The Digital Business Alliance (DBA) is a community of over 200 founders and leaders of technology companies in Poland , who together create a space for exchanging experiences, collaboration, and mutual support.
We organize events in major cities, connect people around the idea of ​​development and technology, and help companies scale through partnerships and knowledge exchange.
Our goal is to build a strong network of entrepreneurs who together shape the future of the Polish technology industry.
Role
We are looking for someone to lead and develop the DBA community – taking care of communication, relationships between members, channel activity, and support for local chapters (Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Katowice, Lodz, Gdynia).
This role is for someone who combines strategic thinking about community development with day-to-day operational effectiveness – able to plan, but also act.
Job requirements
Your tasks
🔹 1. Communication and publications
Independently create and publish content on DBA channels (LinkedIn, Slack, newsletter, Luma).
Preparing engaging posts, invitations and news.
Co-creating the DBA newsletter – collecting stories, initiatives and inspiration from community members.
Maintaining a consistent tone of communication and DBA image.
🔹 2. Event coordination and support
Collaboration with local Chapter Heads throughout Poland.
Assistance in organizing breakfasts, meetups and founder meetings.
Event promotion support (posts, mailings, communication in Slack and Luma).
Administrative activities: registrations, invitations, follow-ups.
🔹 3. Community Relationships and Engagement
Onboarding new members (Slack, newsletter, welcome and contact).
Activation of members – initiating discussions, recommendations, cooperation.
Moderate Slack and respond to community messages.
🔹 4. Partnerships and cooperation with companies
Support for communication with partners, sponsors and speakers.
Assistance with promotional and partnership activities.
🔹 5. Operations and Tools
Updated event calendar, Luma, and materials in Notion.
Preparing event summaries, reports and participant lists.
Using tools (Slack, Notion, Canva, Luma, ClickUp, Substack, OpenAI) to improve daily work.
🔹 6. Reporting and feedback
Collecting data on community activity and events.
Regular reporting of results (number of participants, events, new members).
Feedback analysis and recommendations for improvement.
Profile of the ideal person
Must have:
Experience in community building, communications or B2B marketing.
Excellent work organization and independence.
Ability to write engaging content in Polish (knowledge of English is a plus).
Knowledge of tools: Slack, Notion, Canva, Luma, LinkedIn, Substack, ClickUp, Google Drive.
Openness, initiative and positive energy – a natural desire to engage people.
Nice to have:
Experience in working with technology companies or software houses.
Knowledge of the startup environment.
Ability to use AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Canva Magic Studio).
