Senior Designer

At Dijitally, we’re on a mission to bring world-class creative talent to one of the leading companies in the BNPL space. We’re hiring on behalf of Afterpay to help them build an exceptional in-house creative team. The opportunity

The Australian Afterpay team is looking for a motivated Senior Designer to specifically support our Partner Marketing team and Afterpay’s visual merchandising. You will be at the heart of bringing creative ideas to life, asked to connect dots, organize thoughts and translate project strategy into great creative and design solutions. You will collaborate with teams across Afterpay to launch creative marketing initiatives that guide our mission, business and brand forward. 

Summary of the role

  • A brand champion that understands all aspects of our visual style guide

  • Align to brand and design systems to create a cohesive experience across platforms

  • Be a motivated collaborator and brainstorming wizard

  • Work cross-functionally with marketing managers, designers, copywriters, creative directors, and agencies to align on campaign needs

  • Execute polished designs for both existing initiatives and new concepts

  • Drive creative development and execute based on production objectives

  • Get your hands dirty on production jobs or rolling out campaigns

  • Be genuinely excited about supporting projects for Afterpay and our partners across all channels.  

Who are you?


Like us, you’ll be deeply committed to delivering positive outcomes for our merchants, customers and are passionate about shaping the future of Afterpay.

  • Minimum 8 years of design experience with a fundamental understanding of layout, typography, colour, and photography

  • Experience with partner marketing and visual merchandising and the associate deliverables preferred

  • A strong portfolio of creative work across a range of marketing channels

  • A basic understanding of marketing objectives, channels and consumer behaviour

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects while working both independently and within a team

  • Attention to detail to a pixel-perfect level

  • Solid Adobe Creative Suite skills and proficiency in Figma a must

  • An ability to take on feedback even when you don’t 100% agree

  • A deep understanding of all file types, including digital and print including dispatching

  • An infectiously positive attitude, a keen eye for trending inspiration and an open mind

  • Willingness to grow and learn

We work in a hybrid environment, both from home and at the Afterpay office in Sydney or Melbourne. There are a vast amount of tools and services that will help you complete your work in any environment.
