Sales Development Representative

Directus is looking to have a Sales Development Representative join our team and help with our journey forward. Below you will find details about the role, including the requirements of the position.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute the business development strategy, execution, and results to utilize integrated campaigns developed by marketing in collaboration with Sales.

  • Effectively communicate the Directus vision to potential prospects in an organized and thoughtful way to Enterprise and SMB prospects

  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting via phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn with support from our world-class marketing team

  • Generate new business opportunities with professional follow-up on inbound leads via phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn with support from our world-class marketing team

  • Work in tandem with Account Executives to help them identify and develop opportunities within their defined territories

  • Manage pipeline and outreach via CRM and Sales Automation tools

  • Bring a positive attitude to our team on a daily basis

Skills & qualifications

  • Competitive and committed to winning

  • 2+ years of sales or SDR experience, SaaS, database, or DevOps experience preferred

  • A verifiable history of exceeding personal targets

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient with modern CRM and business productivity tools (Office, Google Docs)

  • A sense of accountability and commitment to attain goals

  • The ability to perform day to day tasks with minimal supervision

  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic 

Desired background

  • Experience with developers

  • Experience with product-led growth

  • Experience working at an early-stage startup

  • Experience with Hubspot
