About the Role

If you’re looking to gain valuable experience by practicing your accounting knowledge in a professional setting working at a fast-growing SaaS tech company then this position is for you! 

During your internship, you’ll get real-world experience working with talented professionals on a wide range of assignments throughout our accounting close cycle, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations, performing balance sheet and income statement analysis, assisting with the procure-to-pay and order-to-cash processes, and other ad hoc projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the ongoing financial statement close process.

• Create customer invoices in accounting software (Netsuite).

• Vendor management including onboarding and maintaining vendors in our procurement management system (Airbase), and vendor bill reconciliation.

• Help prepare financial statement analysis for various accounts.

• Assist Accounting Team with ad hoc projects.

Qualifications

• Actively working towards an undergraduate degree in accounting or finance.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles including US GAAP, and double-entry accounting system.

• Excel experience.

• Strong sense of integrity, responsibility, and accountability.

• Hands-on experience using and supporting hosted ERP (NetSuite), Procurement and Expense management systems (Airbase, and TripActions), and more.
