WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We recruit globally with all members working remotely, so you are welcome to join us no matter where you are. In the future, you will become the main financial officer of our company, focusing on the financial management, budget management, and internal risk management of the DORA team. At the same time, you will also cultivate and manage strategic partnerships, and help build the financial strategy system of the DORA team in global business development. If you are an independent, high achiever who can excel through self-motivation and personal drive, we would love to work with you.

Responsibilities

• Actively oversee and document financial transactions, ensuring accuracy through regular reconciliations, and generate relevant reports.

• Assist in creating financial budgets and executing them, with a focus on preventing and managing budget overruns.

• Monitor team reimbursements, align them with project budgets, and addres any discrepancies.

• Handle tax payments and coordinate internal audits.

• Collect and scrutinize financial data like sales and liabilities, generate periodic financial statements, and project costs and revenues.

• Conduct thorough risk assessments for vendors/clients, analyse financial patterns, and manage month-end and year-end closing procedures.

Qualifications

• BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field

• Relevant certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus

• 2-3 years of proven work experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role

• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software

• In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures

• Solid knowledge of accounting regulations

• Excellent math skills with an attention to details

• Good time-management abilities

• Awareness and strong sense of confidentiality

$55,000 - $70,000 a year

Logistics

This is a remote position that can be done from anywhere. We are able to provide visa sponsorship in some countries, and the possibilities can be discussed in interview process.

Our interview process takes place on Zoom/Google Meeting and consists of the following:

- Test (Online test/Take-home assignment)

- Recruiter call (15-30 minutes)

- Team interview (45-60 mins)

- Final interview (45 mins)
